A total of 13.16 lakh students passed the NEET UG 2024 exam held on May 5 for MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2024-25 academic year.

To download the NEET UG 2024 scorecard, candidates need their application number and password. The scorecard includes the candidate’s name, category, marks, result status, and more.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) also announced the NEET 2024 toppers list, cut-off, and attendance details by gender and category.

NEET 2024 Tie-Breaking Policy

The NEET 2024 tie-breaking criteria were initially changed but later reverted to the previous year’s policy. The revised criteria are as follows:

  1. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile scores in Biology (Botany & Zoology).
  2. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry subject.
  3. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile scores in Physics.
  4. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers in all subjects.
  5. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers in Biology (Botany & Zoology).
  6. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers in Chemistry subject.
  7. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers in Physics.

After the NEET 2024 results, qualified candidates can join the counseling process. This is done at both state and national levels. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) handles the national-level counseling for the 15% All-India quota seats.
