The exam aims to recruit candidates for 10,313 vacancies in Office Assistants (Clerk) and Officers Scale-I, II & III posts in various Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India. This marks the start of the banking examination season, with the IBPS Clerk and PO exams to follow. The detailed IBPS RRB (CRP RRBs-XIII) Notification 2024 includes eligibility criteria, the online application link, vacancies, the selection process, exam centers, exam pattern, and syllabus. Interested candidates can apply online from June 7 to June 27, 2024, at https://ibps.in/.

Important Dates

The online application process started on June 7, 2024, and will continue until June 27, 2024. 

The IBPS RRB Pre Exam Training is scheduled from July 22 to July 27, 2024. 

The IBPS RRB PO and Clerk Prelims Exam will be held on August 3, 4, 10, 17, and 18, 2024. 

The PO Main / Single Officers (II & III) exam is set for September 29, 2024, and the Office Assistant Mains Exam will take place on October 6, 2024. These dates are crucial for candidates to plan their preparation effectively.

Exam Fee

For the IBPS RRB 2024 application fee, candidates in the General Category need to pay Rs. 850 for both the IBPS RRB Assistant and IBPS RRB Officers exams. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category have to pay Rs. 175.

Application Form

The online application link for IBPS RRB 2024 Office Assistant and Officers Scale-I, II & III has been activated with the release of the IBPS RRB Notification 2024 on the official IBPS website at https://ibps.in. The online application registration process for the IBPS RRB recruitment 2024 will be available only for a short period, from June 7 to June 27, 2024.

Steps

1st Step: IBPS RRB Registration 2024
  1. Visit the official website of IBPS.
  2. Click on ‘Apply online for IBPS RRB’.
  3. Select ‘New Registration’ to begin.
  4. Fill in personal and communication details.
  5. Verify and confirm the entered details.
  6. Click on ‘Save and Next’.
  7. After successful registration, a provisional registration ID and password will be generated and displayed on the screen. An email and SMS containing the registration details will also be sent to you.
2nd Step: Uploading of Documents
  1. Log in using the registration number and password.
  2. Navigate to the relevant links for uploading your photograph and signature.
  3. Locate and select the scanned documents from your device.
  4. Click on the upload/open button to complete the process.
  5. Ensure the photograph dimensions are 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) and file size is between 20kb–50 kb. For the signature, dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) and file size between 10kb-20kb.
3rd Step: Filling the Application Form
  1. The application form consists of three tabs: basic, qualification/experience/language, and survey.
  2. Under the basic tab, provide details like category, religion, nationality, and disability status.
  3. Enter your preferred IBPS RRB exam center with the correct state code.
  4. Fill in personal details including gender, father’s name, mother’s name, etc.
  5. Provide communication details such as correspondence address, permanent address with pin code, and state.
  6. In the qualification/experience/language tab, enter graduation details like subject, type of degree, year of passing, and percentage obtained.
  7. Include present and previous work experiences, if applicable.
  8. Specify proficiency in languages, states, and preferred RRBs.
  9. In the survey tab, indicate your choice of organizations where you wish to be recruited.
  10. Preview all details entered in the form and click on ‘I agree’ to confirm the authenticity of the information.
5th Step: Uploading Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration
  1. Before proceeding to fee payment, upload your left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the specified formats.
  2. Left Thumb Impression: Dimensions 240 x 240 pixels, file size 20 KB – 50 KB.
  3. Handwritten Declaration: Dimensions 800 x 400 pixels, file size 50 KB – 100 KB.
4th Step: Fee Payment
  1. Candidates must pay the application fee online through debit card, credit card, IMPS, net banking, cash cards, or mobile wallets.
  2. For debit/credit cards, enter card details including number, expiry date, CVV/PIN.
  3. For net banking, provide the required bank details.
  4. If using IMPS, add beneficiary details as specified.
  5. For mobile wallets/cash cards, log in with the required credentials.
  6. Verify the entered details and click on ‘Pay’ to complete the fee payment process.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian citizens are automatically eligible, along with subjects of Nepal and Bhutan. Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1962 with the intention of staying permanently can also apply. Additionally, people of Indian origin who migrated from specific countries like Pakistan, Burma, or Sri Lanka with the intent to settle permanently in India are included. However, those in categories two through five (i.e. not Indian citizens) will need a certificate of eligibility from the Indian government.

Age Limit:

  1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 and 28 years (born between 02.06.1996 and 01.06.2006, inclusive).
  2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Between 18 and 30 years (born between 03.06.1994 and 30.06.2006, inclusive).
  3. Officer Scale-II (Manager): Between 21 and 32 years (born between 03.06.1992 and 31.05.2003, inclusive).
  4. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Between 21 and 40 years (born between 03.06.1984 and 31.05.2003, inclusive).

Language Proficiency: Candidates applying for Office Assistant posts in any RRB must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT where the RRB is located to be eligible for the interview.
