CUET 2022: ADMISSIONS AND COUNSELING

Students will be allowed to apply for admission to institutions based on their marks. There are no passing scores; instead, based on the volume of applicants, each college will disclose cut-offs. A number of variables must be met in order for you to be admitted to the desired course at your preferred college, including your eligibility, the availability of seats, reservations, relaxations, the grades you obtained on the tests required for the course, the university’s admissions policy, etc.

CUET criteria

Candidates must have completed class 12 in order to be eligible for admission to UG courses. While CUET scores will serve as the cutoff, certain universities, such as DU, will utilize class 12 grades as a tiebreaker for selecting applicants. According to the NTA, the Central Universities (CUs) will be in charge of handling admissions for each programme. “The respective CUs will release the counselling/ admission schedule and merit list based on the CUET (UG) – 2022 score and the other criteria of the respective institution,” it stated. “After the declaration of the CUET (UG) – 2022 result by NTA.”

Through CUET 2022, 86 universities are taking part in this admissions process. Of the total, there are 18 private universities, 12 deemed universities, 13 state universities, and 43 central institutions. Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Hamdard, TISS, BHU, DAVV, Visva-Bharati University, and Allahabad University are just a few of the prestigious institutions that will recognize CUET 2022 marks.
